on his talk show, the drew barrymore show, Drew has really candid, deep conversations with the guests and tends to get very close to them. Like with Brooke Shields:
And here with Chloe Bailey:
She told Jimmy that she wanted her show to be full of good energy. She said that she did not want her interview to sound “like I’m sitting here asking you a question and not telling anything about myself.” Drew said he “sequestered in the complete opposite extreme,” hence the super-close interview style.
“I’m on my knees. I’m hugging,” Drew said. “I feel this magnetic pull.”
She continued, “My therapists would say you shouldn’t be attached to things, but I’m very attached to it. I love doing the show. I get to learn from people every day. I get these.” Incredible conversations that I definitely take something away from. It’s always improving my life. It’s deep. It’s funny. It’s whiplash comedy – because it’s like life. The heavier it gets, the more you want to laugh. ,
Drew said, “I love people. I love every human being on the planet. I’m thrilled. Everyone has a story. Everyone is extraordinary and interesting. Being a conversationalist at work is really great.” It’s fun.”
Jimmy then shows Drew a meme about the guests being close. Drew died laughing. “At first I was like, ‘Oh, is this a good thing? I can’t tell,'” she said.
“Then I was like, ‘No, this is awesome!’ it’s so much fun.”
God, I love her. You can watch his full interview here.
