Khloe Kardashian has officially revealed her son’s name. The Kardashians and Tristan Thompson welcomed their little boy in late July 2022, and the reality star decided to keep the baby’s name a secret. But in the season three premiere of “The Kardashians,” airing May 25, Kardashian publicly shares the baby’s name for the first time: Tatum.
“Naming a human being is really hard,” she says in the episode about why it took her so long to choose a name and announce it. Kardashian also shares daughter True, 5, with Thompson. The NBA player’s sons Prince, 6, and Theo, 17 months, are also there.
A few days after Kardashian’s official announcement, eagle-eyed fans noticed that her best friend Malika Haqq mentioned the baby’s name with a comment on Instagram.
On Friday, May 19, Kardashian posted a few photos in which she is seen holding her baby boy. Several of the reality star’s famous friends commented on her post — including Serena Williams, who wrote, “I love her” — but it was Haqq’s comment that left her followers talking. “Go Tate!” the former “Hollywood Divas” star commented. Earlier in May, rumors began circulating that Kardashian and Thompson had named their son Tatum Robert.
Prior to the official name announcement, Kardashian confirmed that her son’s name begins with a “T,” like his father and older sister True. During an April 5 appearance on “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” Kardashian not only revealed that her little boy has a “T” name, she also opened up about why it took a while to finally settle on one.
“I wanted to meet him and feel him a little bit,” she said. “At first, she didn’t have a name. Then, she was named, but I was looking forward to the premiere of our show, and I had no idea it was going to be this far.”
Kardashian continued to joke, “So now, if my daughter is estranged from me, I’m screwed.” It was revealed that True was finally able to keep her family’s big secret.
