On April 17, 2023, a source told CNN that Foxx was still in the hospital and that he was still recovering. “They’re getting tested and are still trying to figure out exactly what happened,” a source told CNN about Foxx’s health scare. PEOPLE also confirmed Foxx’s hospitalization, but a source added that he continues to improve.

April 13, 2023: back in action cut scenes
April 13, 2023 People got a memo saying a casting director back in action Extras informed that a scene scheduled to be filmed this Sunday has been canceled due to “production changes”.
According to the memo, the original scene will not be rescheduled due to the changes, but scenes that were supposed to be filmed on Monday and Tuesday are expected to proceed as planned.
April 12, 2023: News breaks about Foxx’s health
On April 12, 2023, Corinne Fox, daughter of Jamie Foxx, released a statement on her Instagram. “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” the statement read. “Fortunately, due to prompt action and care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how dear he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.
A source “with direct knowledge” told TMZ that Fox experienced a “medical emergency” on Tuesday morning, April 10, 2023, and was taken to the hospital. He was told that his condition was so serious that Jamie’s family, who were from out of town, came to the hospital. A source told the tabloid site, “He’s in communication now, and that’s great news.”
Foxx has been open about her health in the past. He talked about his struggle with substance abuse. ‘When [Kanye] Talked about drugs, psych drugs, I have an episode of that,’ he said in a 2018 interview hip hop hollywood, , ‘When [Kanye] was talking about, “I took two pills, and then seven pills [he received from the hospital],’It’s real!'”

Foxx reportedly broke down on set weeks later, being hospitalized. The Sun reports Foxx and Diaz’ film production on March 15, 2023 back in action-The film—his first in nine years—was temporarily shelved and four people were fired after Foxx had a “meltdown” on the set. “There have been some issues on set and Jamie has had a huge meltdown over it all,” said the insider. “He demanded that the problems be resolved immediately and that four employees of the production be dismissed – as if this would magically improve the situation.” The source said: “Some of the people working on it are absolutely fed up with how this has played out and Jamie has become quite unpopular.”
According to the Daily Mail, a film worker tried to implicate Foxx in a $40,000 scam. The same employee may have been involved in scams involving wealthy celebrities in a previous attempt, and police were reportedly called to the set back in action Over Foxx dustup.
