The MLB London Series is now the talk of the town as the Chicago Cubs and St.Louis Cardinals, two historic rivals of the National League, meet for a brief two-game set across the pond.

And so, with the series soon to take place, workmen at the London Stadium, home of Premier League soccer club West Ham United, didn’t have much time to convert the football pitch into a baseball stadium.

It took countless hours of preparation, but workers at the London Stadium were eventually able to convert it into a baseball stadium in preparation for the big series.

On Twitter, MLB Europe posted a video that shows the complete transformation of the stadium.

Obviously, it took a lot of preparation and hard work.

But look, the London stadium is now ready for baseball.

The London Series has not been played since 2019, when the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox met for a two-game set.

Four years later, two arch-rivals in the National League would get a chance to play in front of the people of London.

The video is a quick one, but ultimately it shows how difficult it is to completely convert a football stadium into a baseball stadium, to outfit it for an entirely different sport and an almost entirely different setting.

It’s definitely cool to see all the work the crew put into it.

His efforts would soon be rewarded by an exciting matchup between the Cubs and the Cardinals.
