The Oakland Athletics are the worst team in MLB.

If you’ve followed their movements and transactions since 2021, this probably won’t surprise you.

Since their failed attempt to make the playoffs that year, they have disassembled the roster and traded away their best pieces.

Right now, they look like a Triple-A team in the wrong league.

His 6-24 record is an embarrassment, and his appearance numbers are at an all-time low.

Of course, the recent decision to move out of Oakland to build a new park in Las Vegas has affected attendance.

People in Oakland can’t connect with the franchise because it’s going to be taken away from them soon.

However, the main problems are an ownership that hasn’t been fielding a competitive team for some years and a stadium that is far from modern and attractive.

The Oakland–Alameda County Coliseum is regularly named as one of the league’s worst.

People just don’t like going to stadiums for those reasons, and it’s hard to blame them.

Even the A’s minor league teams draw more people than them.

“You’ve probably heard that Oakland’s AAA affiliate often brings in more fans than the MLB team. But last night’s Oakland A’s game only had 2,583 fans, which is less than their AAA, AA and A+ affiliates that Were average last season. This has become a disaster,” tweeted Joe Pompliano.

He attached a video of the game, and it really doesn’t seem like 2,000 people.

It’s possible the team is counting season ticket holders or something.

The situation has reached a point of no return, but it’s not as much the fans’ fault as the teams or the league would like people to believe.
