Dylan Dreyer is enjoying some quality time away from home – and his fans are making up for him.
The TODAY star earlier in the week shared a delightful selfie on Instagram with husband Brian Fichera ahead of their mini vacation.
The couple was all smiles as they sat in the Delta lounge at the airport. “Brian’s favorite spot: @delta lounge.” she wrote along with the image. Fans immediately commented on the post, with one writing: “Have a good time both of you!” While another wrote: “Great choice!” A third added: “You both look so cute!”
was missing from dylan Today on Tuesday, who was also enjoying the time with her co-star Sheinelle Jones. Dylan and Brian are parents to three young boys, Calvin, six, Oliver, three, and one-year-old Rusty.
This isn’t the first time Dylan has invited fans in for a glimpse into his life away from work. Away from her shiny job at NBC, the 41-year-old often shares candid updates on her life, from feeling bad about work accidents to raising three young boys in a two-bed apartment in New York City.
The meteorologist recently admitted to feeling down after stumbling in the middle of a broadcast in March. The star’s husband Brian Fichera made sure she didn’t feel too bad about it at home, and surprised her with the sweetest gesture.
To cheer her up, Brian presents Dylan with a vase of flowers, with a note that reads: “It’s just Vodar,” accidentally misspelling the word “” because of his on-air blunder. There’s a subtle hint. “How the cameraman tries to cheer me up when I see the weather forecast for tonight!” She wrote in the caption, “He totally gets me!”
Dylan and Brian are parents to six-year-old Calvin, three-year-old Oliver and one-year-old Rusty. Recently, the doting mom confided that her oldest son was diagnosed with celiac disease after months of being in pain.
The TODAY star was joined by her little boy as she described her symptoms as “severe pain, every day, not a different pain, always severe pain.” The mom of three said she often asked to be moved off the dinner table, and he replied that it was because her “stomach hurt, and I had to lie down on the couch.”
The family has since changed their diet and cut out gluten completely. Calvin revealed that he now felt “awesome” and “a thousand percent better”, with Dylan describing it as “a big transition for everyone in the family”.
