In today’s random celebrity news, Timothée Chalamet and Adam Sandler were spotted playing a game of pickup basketball together.
On Thursday, both the actors were spotted playing basketball on an outdoor court in New York.

Although the idea of these two friends being friends may seem completely random, it turns out that they actually appeared in the same movie almost 10 years ago.
In 2014, Adam Sandler starred in men, women and children With Jennifer Garner and Judy Greer. The film chronicles the lives of several parents and their high school kids in the mid-2010s. Ansel Elgort, Caitlin Dever and Timothée Chalamet played the roles of teenagers in the film. Here are some of the cast with director Jason Reitman in 2014:
Still, it’s anyone’s guess how and why the two played basketball in New York this week.
