The Houston Rockets are beginning a new era with Ime Udoka as their head coach.

This could mean that big changes are coming in the youth team.

One of those could include a shocking trade involving one of the team’s best players.

According to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, Jalen Green could be included in a trade package this summer.

The Rockets are reportedly looking to add an established star to start this new era.

“The Rockets, sources said, also addressed the idea of including second-year guard Jalen Green, the No. 2 pick in the 2021 NBA draft, as part of a package to acquire established star talent.”

James Harden has been linked with a move back to Houston for a while.

Depending on how his season with the Philadelphia 76ers ends, Harden could return to the team where he spent most of his career.

In addition, Fischer says other players like Jaylen Brown and Khris Middleton are on the Rockets’ radar.

A reunion with Udoka would be great for Brown, who has proven his worth with the Boston Celtics.

As for Middleton, recent reports suggest that the Bucks may be looking to move on from his first-round pick.

The Rockets can only go from a below-average team to a contender in one off-season.

They could also land Victor Vembanayama in the 2023 NBA Draft and pair him with some solid stars.
