The Arizona Cardinals finished the 2022 season with a 4–13 record, which defied pre-season expectations.
However, Kyler Murray got injured, which was all too common for this team last year.
DeAndre Hopkins was also suspended to start the year, which did not help his early season woes.
While several teams are looking to bounce back this season, most NFL analysts have little faith in the Cardinals.
Several sportsbooks have looked at the 2023 NFL schedule and declared the Cardinals as underdogs in each of their 17 games.

That’s a lot different than the Kansas City Chiefs, who are favorites going into every game in 2023, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
A recent article from AZ Central breaks down each game, and what the current standings are for all of the Cardinals’ contests.
As current conditions dictate, the Cardinals’ longest chance of winning is in Week 17 against the Philadelphia Eagles, where they are ten-point underdogs.
Their best chance to win is against the Los Angeles Rams, where they are only two-point underdogs.
DraftKings sets the Cardinals’ over/under win rate at 4.5, and many believe that number to be too high.
The Cardinals’ success hinges largely on Murray’s health.
The timeline of his recovery from his ACL injury is still widely unknown.
If he can start the season, the Cardinals will have a better chance of posting a better record.
However, if Murray is out for the first several weeks of the season, the Cardinals’ starting chances for success are less than ideal.
