The rapper was also very transparent in speaking on his relationship with his fiancee and mother of one of his children, Tori Brix, and host Thembi.
The New York-born, Atlanta-raised 30-year-old rapper rose to fame with his 2017 hit single, “New Freezer,” which featured Kendrick Lamar. Since then, he has released a total of six studio projects, including a joint album with the aforementioned New Orleans Cash Money native. In addition to his musical acclaim, the rapper has also garnered attention for his years-long romance with his fiancée, Tori Brix. According to HipHopDX, the rapper popped the question to Brix in December 2019.
However, the pair’s romance has not been without public strife. According to AllHipHop, a woman allegedly busted the rapper for failing to pay her $35,000 in “quiet money” to keep her pregnancy private, allegedly fathered by Rich. After the allegations became public, Rich the Kid apologized to his fiancee via Instagram. Now, the rapper is sharing more details about the pair’s relationship, the meaning behind his apology, and how he intends to move forward with Brix.
Rich the Kid speaks out on his apology to Tory Brix
The rapper’s apology to his fiancee has now been deleted from his Instagram account. However, in a recently published report by AllHipHop, the rapper has provided an apology.
“I want to make a public apology to my best friend, my boyfriend and fiancé for any disrespect, infidelity or any accusations I may have made. I’m a grown man, I’ve done wrong, and I’m admitting it and apologizing to the beautiful strong woman who took care of not only me but our family over the years… I’m not [others]…I know I’m wrong and will fix it, love you @toribrixx, I’m so sorry.’
In a conversation with Thembi, the rapper explained that “all men make mistakes.” Then it also shared that there was “no hidden money involved” in the alleged incidents.
Additionally, Rich the Kid also spoke about his public apology to Brisco.

The rapper is “fighting” for his family with Brix
The rapper revealed that marriage to Brix is still in the upcoming plans. However, the couple is “working on a family right now.”
“I am fighting for my family… [you] You have to work hard for what you want. That’s definitely my family. We were together for almost six years…”
Furthermore, the rapper revealed that he sees himself with her for the rest of his life.
“I definitely see myself with her for the rest of my life. I’d be a fool to do anything else.”
