Opening Day was a smash hit as the teams officially kicked off their 2023 season.

The Boston Red Sox kicked off their slate of regular season games at home against the Baltimore Orioles.

The day did not end as he had hoped, as the Orioles won at Fenway Park by a final score of 10–9.

However, that hasn’t dampened the excitement for the 2023 season and what it could have in store for the Sox.

Before the game, the Red Sox received a warm message of support from the NBA’s Boston Celtics, who wished their Boston partners the best for 2023 and expressed their excitement for Major League Baseball’s return.

It’s always nice to get a message of support to start the season.

That’s what the Red Sox got from the Celtics on Thursday before their home opener against the Orioles.

But as elsewhere, Opening Day is a special day in Boston, as team legends make their appearances and fans get to see their team for the first time.

There are some new faces in Boston as well.

Adam Duvall, Masataka Yoshida, Corey Kluber, Kenley Johnson and Justin Turner are just a few of them.

However, no matter what the weather is like, it’s always fun to have baseball back and spring in full bloom.

The same excitement and energy can be felt all around Boston as the team looks to bounce back from a tough 2022 season.

Fans are looking forward to a strong season, as are the rest of Boston’s sports teams.
