Rachel Riley and Pasha Kovalev are parents to two daughters, Maven, three, and Noah, one, and in a new interview with the Mirror, Countdown The presenter revealed how their relationship had changed since welcoming the two.
The mother of two admitted that the pair were not that passionate about each other, sharing: “All the romance and dates… we just kind of put the pin on it.However, he added that since the couple had been “patient” with each other, they were happy to wait until Noa finished breastfeeding in the Galapagos Islands.
Rachel insisted that she and Pasha have now had children, explaining: “We are dealing with children. You can fit four in a hotel room or car. So now when the girls are outgrown the clothes, they go to the charity shop. I’m not keeping them just in case,
The pair are clearly still as close as they were when they married in 2019, and they looked every inch the smitten couple while celebrating a close friend’s wedding last month.
Taking to Instagram to treat fans to a sweet photo on the special day, Rachel admitted that it was the first time they had attended a wedding since their own wedding before the pandemic. In a compilation of short clips and photos, Rachel looked absolutely beautiful in a forest green dress as she took on bridesmaid duties.
In one of the pictures, Rachel, 37, and Pasha, 43, are seen hugging for a candid selfie – and they looked very much in love!

© InstagramThe couple married in 2013 after meeting on Strictly Come Dancing. They began dating the following year and revealed in July 2019 that they had secretly married in Las Vegas. Rachel opted for an unconventional wedding dress in the form of a gorgeous patterned red and white mini, while Pasha wore a smart blazer and chinos.
Rachel has previously told Strictly about her experience of the ‘curse’, despite only meeting on the BBC show. During her time on the show, the TV star announced her separation from her first husband, Jamie Gilbert. Soon after the series, she and Pasha confirmed that they were in a relationship.
talking to Sunday Times Magazine Last year, the blonde beauty expressed her feelings about the ‘curse’, the idea that celebrities fall in love with their professional partners, arguing that it was not the right word for her experience.
Rachel teased: “Are you calling my kids a curse? That’s not right!” Math worked its magic: “If you have cracks, vigorously expose them. It gave me the distance to make the break that was going to happen anyway.”
