The Los Angeles Clippers again failed to live up to expectations in 2023.
He entered the season as one of the favorites to win the championship.
But it seems that what can go wrong for the Clippers will go wrong.
This time it was the injuries that derailed his year.
The Clippers entered the playoffs as the fifth seed in the Western Conference and had to play the Suns in the first round.
But the Clippers will have to play their first series without Paul George.
The All-Star suffered a knee injury at the end of the regular season that ruled him out of the playoffs.
George talked on his podcast “Podcast P” about how difficult these past few seasons have been.

Every year the Clippers have championship aspirations and something gets in the way.
Not only did George miss the entire first round series, but Kawhi Leonard could not play after game 2.
It’s tough to compete in the playoffs when two of your best players lose games.
This is the problem the Clippers have been facing for the past few seasons.
One problem with the Clippers is their aging roster.
The injury rate is higher with most older players.
It doesn’t bode well for a team that seems to be plagued by injuries every season at the worst time of the year.
Next year, the Clippers will once again have championship aspirations, but if they don’t stay healthy, it won’t matter.
