The Miami Heat completed an incredible playoff run that saw them move from the eighth seed in the conference to the NBA Finals.

Nobody saw that run coming because they did it without one of their top players.

Tyler Herro broke his hand in the first round series against the Milwaukee Bucks.

He missed the rest of the playoffs, and the Heat lost his scoring ability in the Finals.

Now rumor has it that Miami is looking to make a big move this season.

They were on a potential deal for Bradley Beal and have serious interest in Damian Lillard.

According to ESPN, Heat president Pat Riley said Herro is an “anchor” and the team wants to build around him.

Herro averaged 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists last season.

Still, the Heat are interested in acquiring a star player like Lillard.

To do this they will most likely have to trade heros.

The Heat have made it to the finals twice in the last four seasons.

They did so with a core of Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo and Herro.

But being unable to win the championship, Riley had to make some moves.

The Heat have one thing going for them as their head coach.

Erik Spoelstra is one of the best in the league and he brings out the best from his team each year.

So no matter who is in the Heat uniform next year, the Heat should be able to compete for the title.
