After the Super Bowl victory, many around the league predicted that the Kansas City Chiefs would be the favorites for the 2023 season.

Patrick Mahomes is routinely touted as the league’s best quarterback, which is the main reason for this analysis.

However, Joe Burrows and the Cincinnati Bengals are a distant second for many.

In a recent segment of “Up & Adams,” Chris Collinsworth explained why he thinks the Bengals can win it all this year.

Collinsworth believes strongly in Borough, among other aspects of this roster.

Burrows was a finalist in MVP voting during the 2022 season.

His presence in Cincinnati has not only transformed the franchise, but he has also instilled faith in the fans.

The Bengals have made it to the AFC Championship Game in consecutive seasons, which was a dream before Burrows joined the team.

While the team has an uphill climb to return to the Super Bowl, Collinsworth thinks they can do it.

Burrow’s top two receivers, along with Jammer Chase and Tye Higgins, are among the league’s best.

Their offensive line has improved dramatically throughout the offseason, which had previously been a detriment to this roster.

Collinsworth’s prediction could come true if the Bengals can keep everything together.

However, considering their recent track record against AFC teams, tackling the Chiefs is no big deal.

As an organization, the Bengals are 0-3 in Super Bowl appearances, including the most recent loss in 2021.

Will 2023 be the season they reach the top of the proverbial mountain?
