Netflix sets up first live reunion special with ‘Love Is Blind’ — Deadline

Netflix is going live again.

The streamer has set up its first ever live reunion special for one of its reality shows – handing over a special event to Love Is Blind.

The dating show, which is in its fourth season, will air Love Is Blind: The Live Reunion from LA on Sunday, April 16 at 8 p.m. ET.

It follows the roll out of Chris Rock’s comedy special Selective Outrage, the streamer’s first foray into live programming that aired in March. Deadline revealed last May that the streamer was exploring the live technology for precisely this reason.

Hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey will join the cast for the special and help viewers digest who said ‘I do’ and who didn’t.

The reunion will be produced by Embassy Row (the original show is produced by Kinetic Content) and Brandon Monk will serve as showrunner and executive with Michael Davis.

Plus the cast of Love Is Blind is bringing their pods to fans in New York, Nashville and LA ahead of the reunion.

The show’s fourth season premiered on 24 March and began in batches, with the final episode airing on 12 April.
