The Denver Nuggets are living a magical moment during the 2023 NBA Playoffs.

After the big win over the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals series, everyone was surprised by Jamal Murray.

The talented point guard has suffered through dire circumstances over the past two years that made him think he would be traded.

Michael Malone recently shared a story about how Murray felt after the injury, revealing that the player thought he would be sent elsewhere.

Bleacher Report shared the comments, as seen below.

Malone knew it would be a difficult and long process for Murray, but he would not be alone.

He will come back better than ever and time has proved him right.

Now, the point guard is playing at a great level, confirming that he is one of the best at his position in the entire NBA.

He has taken his Nuggets to this level and is setting the Lakers on fire in the WCF.

Patience paid off for him and his team, even when people thought the Nuggets were ready to move past him.

Many claimed that his performance in the bubble was a mere fluke, but Murray showed that he was ready to take over the league.

He averaged 35.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists in three games against the Lakers, earning the Western Conference Finals MVP award with his heroics.

The Nuggets are looking like a championship team, and as long as Murray is healthy and playing at this level, they will be difficult to beat.

The Lakers still hope to beat the Nuggets, but Murray is ready to sweep them on Monday.
