Michael J. Fox tells Whoopi Goldberg she regrets turning down ‘Ghost’ role – Deadline


Michael J. made an appearance on Fox Scene where he encountered Whoopi Goldberg and told her he was sorry for not working with her Evil spirit,

During Fox’s appearance on the ABC talk show, back to the future The alum was asked by Goldberg if she had any regrets about acting roles she turned down in the past.

Fox said, “Working with you was an opportunity I missed.” “He talked about me Evil spirit Right from the beginning. I said, ‘It will never work.’ I said, ‘Whoopi is great but it’s never going to work.'”

Evil spirit is a 1990 romantic fantasy film directed by Jerry Zucker and written by Bruce Joel Rubin. The film starred Goldberg, Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze. The main story centers around Sam, played by Swayze, whose ghost returns to save his girlfriend Molly (Moore) from the man who killed her. Goldberg played the role of psychic Oda Mae Brown who facilitates communication between Sam and Molly.

Goldberg won an Oscar in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in the film. Evil spirit Also won the Academy Award for Best Screenplay.
