LVMPD executes search warrant related to Tupac Shakur murder


Rap icon murdered for almost 28 years tupac shakur is unresolved. But, it appears that Las Vegas Metro Police investigators have caught a major flaw in the case — enough to issue and execute a search warrant for at least one local home.

8 News Now first reported the story saying that the LVMPD confirmed the warrant to them. Meanwhile, ABC News published his statement.

“LVMPD can confirm that a search warrant was issued on July 17, 2023 in Henderson, Nevada as part of the ongoing investigation into the Tupac Shakur homicide. We will have no further comment at this time.”

Although the home was searched on Monday night, police have remained tight-lipped about any findings, including possible suspects. The home that was searched is reportedly near Interstate 11 and Wagon Wheel Drive. No arrests have been announced.

Although he initially survived the shootings, the hip-hop legend died six days later on September 13 in hospital. He was 25 years old.

Shakur was less than a decade into his now illustrious music and acting career. He burst onto the scene in 1990 after joining an Oakland-based rap group called Digital Underground.
