Khloe Kardashian is opening up about whether she would rekindle her romance with Tristan Thompson, the father of her children. According to People, the 38-year-old shared her thoughts on the recent episode of ‘The Kardashians’ during a chat with her mother Kris Jenner.

According to the outlet, Kardashian explained that she and Thompson currently “get along great.”
“Tristan and I, we’ve always gotten along great. He and I have a great friendship, we get along well, and for my kids, I’d put anything aside.
Kardashian explained that despite their past relationship, she doesn’t need to move on by “punishing” him. The 38-year-old ended her statement by saying that she is “not getting back with him.”
“What’s done is done, so why would I still be holding on to something? I don’t need to ‘punish’ him because I’m not coming back with him.
The Kardashians shut down the possibility of a romantic reconciliation
Kardashian continued the conversation by explaining that although she and Tristan are on “great” terms, they do not spend time together without their children.
“There are still boundaries, I’m definitely putting my foot around a lot of things. No one’s chilling out here if there aren’t kids involved.
Additionally, Kardashian explained why these “boundaries” are “so important” with Thompson.
“It’s so important to establish these boundaries with Tristan because we’ve done this song and dance so many times already. I got back with her after a cheating scandal, so I don’t know if Tristan is under the impression, ‘Oh wow, well, let’s just work it out and eventually she’ll get back with me.’ I understand why he would think that, so it’s my job to set boundaries should my actions demonstrate otherwise…”
The 38-year-old mother of two then ended the conversation by explaining that she keeps things “very short and sweet” with Thompson. He believes it will always remind her that their relationship has “always been about the kids”.
Lastly, she explained that although “it’s so easy to go back to her and Thompson’s past”, she cannot “let those old habits easily” creep back into her life.
“I can’t easily let those old habits creep into my life. This is not what I want.
