French phenom Victor Vembanyama has taken the NBA by storm, and he has yet to play a minute in the league for the San Antonio Spurs, who picked him with the No. 1 overall pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft.
With Wembanyama now officially an NBA player and under legendary head coach Greg Popovich in San Antonio, debate is raging over what he can do for the Spurs in his debut season.

Although it would be safe to assume that Vembanayama would have a lot of success in his first season with the Spurs, the 7’5″ superstar may find it a bit difficult to make the All-Star game in his first season, especially considering all the Western talent at the convention.
Even though it seems like a stretch, it would be no surprise to see Wambanyama live up to or exceed expectations during the 2023-24 NBA season and become the talk of the league alongside players like Nikola Jokic, Joel Embiid There will be no talk of Giannis Antetokounmpo.
