Jon Hamm recently tied the knot – but he wasn’t always a fan of the idea of marriage!
Over the weekend, John and his now-wife Anna Osceola said “I do” after nearly two years of dating and announcing their engagement.
The fact that the couple has made things official may come as a surprise to some fans, considering that John has previously been vocal about having no desire to get married.
John reportedly shared in an interview with Playboy in 2012, “My parents divorced when I was 2 and they never remarried. So, it doesn’t mean anything to me.” “
He continued, “I don’t mean to say it shouldn’t mean anything to other people. I’m not judging it in any way. It’s just my experience.”
It’s clear that John has had a change of heart in the last decade, recently explaining why he decided to marry Anna.

John said he thinks being able to call each other husband and wife will add deeper meaning to their relationship.
He shared, “Ideally, it gives you and your partner a sense of stability and comfort and the ability to recognize who’s better, deeper, than ‘this is my girlfriend’ or ‘my boyfriend’ or what have you.” , is prosperous.”
As for the next step in the couple’s lives, John shared that welcoming children is still “TBD.”
