The Denver Nuggets deserve all the credit for putting together a talented and hard working team that reached the NBA Finals this season.

The front office has done an excellent job of bringing in the right players to maximize Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray’s chances to win NBA championships.

The 2023 NBA Playoffs is the greatest proof of how well built this team is.

In addition to their two superstars, the Nuggets have role players ready to step into the spotlight when the team needs them.

JJ Reddick recently pointed out that one of these players has become the X-factor during the NBA Finals, praising Aaron Gordon for his contribution.

“Who’s the X factor? Who’s the key? Beyond the stars, it’s Aaron Gordon. This player has done well over and over again during the playoffs.”

Gordon has played at a high level this post season, not only taking on the toughest defensive assignments in each series but also playing a scoring role when the team needs him.

He has influenced the game in many ways.

In Game 4 he had 27 points, including seven rebounds and six assists.

Gordon’s career took a major turn when he joined the Nuggets after his stint with the Orlando Magic.

He is much more than a dunker now and has embraced his role on the Nuggets en route to an NBA Championship.

The Nuggets are a great team with two superstars moving forward.

But it’s players like Gordon who have shown up at the right time to help secure important wins.
