The Miami Marlins have been playing great baseball for a while now.
That performance propelled them to a solid 46–34 record, currently in second place in the NL East division, despite a -6 run differential.
The surprising thing is that they have been without top player Jazz Chisholm Jr. for the past six weeks, and that hasn’t stopped them.
Now that they’ve got him back, they can have another gear.
The dynamic player and cover star of the 2023 edition of MLB The Show went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and three RBI in a 10-1 win against the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday.
“‘I just came here to try to help my mates get another W. man. They’ve been doing great since I’ve been out, and I’m very happy to be back with them.. .I missed these people.’ Jazz Chisholm Jr. speaks out following his return to the lineup! Bailey Sports Florida tweeted with quotes from Chisholm.

A toe injury kept Chisholm out of the lineup for several weeks, but it didn’t appear to be a problem when he hit a Garrett Whitlock pitch to the Green Monster and raced around the bases.
The timing of his injury was poor as he was on the verge of going out of an early season funk.
He is now slashing .243/.307/.419 with seven homers, 14 steals, 18 runs and 19 RBI in 40 games.
If we consider last season’s performance (.254/.325/.535) as his crowning achievement, he still has a lot to offer the young Marlins.
He is one of the most important players among the few players who can provide consistent attack, power and pace.
