Tom confirmed the divorce in a post on his Instagram story at the time. He wrote, “Recently, my wife and I have decided to divorce each other after 13 years of marriage. We reached this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to ensure that he gets the love and attention that he deserves. “We came to this decision to end our marriage after much thought. Doing so is certainly painful and difficult, as it is for many people around the world who go through the same thing every day. However, we wish only the best for each other as we pursue new chapters in our lives that have yet to be written. And we kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate the days and weeks ahead Let’s navigate. Thank you.”
Gisele shared a similar post on her Instagram Story. She wrote, “With great gratitude for our time together, Tom and I have finalized our divorce amicably. My priority has always been and will always be my children whom I love with all my heart. We will continue to love, care and support them.” and will continue to co-parent to focus. The decision to end a marriage is never an easy one, but we have grown apart and, of course, it is difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed to have had that time. I cherish the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always.
