When the 2022 NFL season began, not many people were expecting the New York Giants to do anything positive.
But they started the program by winning six of their first seven games, raising eyebrows across the league, and after making the playoffs, they upset the Minnesota Vikings, who had won 13 games, in the wild card round.
Still, many are counting on the giants for this coming season.
But linebacker Kayvon Thibodaux relishes the fact that he’s the underdog for the 2023 campaign, as the NFL noted on Twitter.

New York spent this offseason signing quarterback Daniel Jones and defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence to lucrative contracts, and they are currently figuring out what to do about star running back Saquon Barkley.
Barkley is currently under his franchise tag, but he only has a few more weeks to come up on a new contract.
They haven’t made any earth-shattering acquisitions, but they’re hoping that tight end Darren Waller, whom they acquired via trade from the Las Vegas Raiders, will give them some much-needed juice in their passing game.
Last season, the Giants finished just 24th in passing touchdowns and 26th in passing yards, and they could use a few more weapons on offense to help Jones develop and reach the next level as a passer. .
The NFC East will be tough, as the Dallas Cowboys have made some big additions that could propel them to the top of the division, and the defending conference champion Philadelphia Eagles aren’t going anywhere.
To make the playoffs again, the Giants will have to once again show their stamina.
