The Denver Nuggets have been patient with Jamal Murray as he has suffered multiple injuries that have kept him off the court.
That patience has come in handy now that Murray has helped the team reach the 2023 NBA Finals.
He’s been on a tear during his 2023 playoff run, earning more and more praise by the day.
Murray is one of the top talents in the league right now, and Paul Pierce recently called him the best point guard in the league.

Controversial as ever, Pierce garnered a lot of backlash with his take, and a lot of fans had something to say about it.

We just give all the same post names. Murray is not PG at all

Jamal Murray is one of my favorite players but he is not the best. he deserves a top 5 conversation

Truth be told, Murray is playing the best basketball of his career.
He was not expected to return to this level in 2021 after injuring his ACL in his left knee.
Rehab wasn’t easy, let alone fasting, but Murray and his team were patient.
He is now on the verge of becoming an NBA champion.
He made history during the 2023 NBA Finals, becoming the first player to record 10 or more assists in each of his first four Finals games.
He also became the third player to record 12 or more assists with zero turnovers in a Finals game.
With players like Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, Damian Lillard, Kyrie Irving, Ja Morant and others, Murray has plenty of competition to be named the best, but there’s no doubt he belongs in the conversation.
