Shannon Sharpe is not only one of the top NBA commentators in the world, but he is also a presence at some games.
Sharp is especially known for his spots courtside during Los Angeles Lakers games.
Since the Lakers are now officially in the playoffs, many expect him to appear during every game of their opening round series against the Memphis Grizzlies.
But Sharp said this is not possible due to exorbitant ticket prices.
On Twitter, a fan said “we need UNC courtside at every game” alongside a photo of Sharpe during the last intense, high-stakes game between the Lakers and Grizzlies.
Sharp responded, “Someone needs to start a GoFundMe acc. Those ticks’ prices are cray cray.”

If Sharp were to open his Twitter replies today, he’d see plenty of fans who took the comment as an opportunity to dig in and poke fun at him.
He certainly won’t see any donations for the cause.
One follower jokingly told Sharp, “Spend less on them and you’ll be fine.”
spend less on those clothes and you’ll be fine

There were some people who actually gave sensible advice, and told her to make a deal with a clothing company to earn free tickets.
Get a fashion brand to buy tickets and wear whatever they tell you to. great marketing for them and much cheaper than other advertising options

Then there were others who said that her focus should not be on fashion.
Some said, if he had spent less money on his clothes, he could have afforded court seats.
He’ll have to wear sweatpants to buy a ticket to the next game

Even if he’s not there, Sharp will surely be paying attention to the game between the Lakers and the Grizzlies.
The last time Sharpe was in a game between these two teams, things got very heated and made a lot of headlines.
If he shows up in the early going, you can bet Sharp will be on his best behavior.
