The Miami Heat have a chance to become the biggest No. 8 seed in NBA history, especially with a possible win in the NBA Finals.
But first, they need to close out their series versus the Boston Celtics to punch their ticket into the final stage.
For that, they would have to travel to hostile territory and take Game 5 on the road at TD Garden, and oddsmakers don’t like their chances.

The Celtics opened as eight-point favorites before Game 5, according to SportsCenter, which noted that the underdogs have won all games in the series so far.
Of course, those odds drew a lot of commentary on social media, with fans sharing their opinions on what may or may not happen in that crucial matchup.

I feel like if any team is going to come back from 3-0, it’s the Boston Celtics. But the heat got hold of Himi Butler

8 points is outrageous but we are used to it

No team has ever come back from an 0-3 deficit in NBA playoff history, but there is always a first.
Beyond that, this Celtics team has enough talent, firepower, and stars to write their names in the history books.
Then again, it’s hard to imagine a sane and experienced coach like Erik Spoelstra losing four games in a row, let alone against the same opponent.
Joe Majulla has looked in over his head several times this series, and we are at a loss for words to describe what Jimmy Butler has done in the playoffs.
The post-season eight points seem so deep, and you better believe the Heat will once again take things personal when they hit the road for another date with the Celtics.
