The Dallas Cowboys entered the 2023 NFL Draft with a number of needs.
He selected Kansas State in the sixth round over running back Deuce Von.
He was one of the best players in college football throughout his career, but his size intimidated many NFL teams.
Vaughn stands at 5’5″ and was the shortest player measured at the NFL Combine since 2002.
At the NFL rookie premiere, Vaughn was able to get his first look at his Cowboys jersey.
His reaction to seeing his jersey made him smile, courtesy of NFL on ESPN.

Cowboys attack him because of his college production.
He can run between the tackles and is a very good receiver.
Vaughn should take a spot behind Tony Pollard as the Cowboys’ RB2 for the upcoming season.
His size wasn’t an issue for him in college, and it shouldn’t be an issue in the NFL.
Last season at Kansas State, Vaughn rushed for 1,558 yards and nine touchdowns.
He also caught 42 passes for 378 yards and three touchdowns.
In three college seasons, he rushed for over 3,600 yards and scored 43 touchdowns.
Vaughn had a feel-good draft story because his father, Chris Vaughn, is a scout for the Cowboys.
The Cowboys allow Chris to call Deuce, letting him know that he is being drafted.
Many people compare Vaughn to former Kansas State running back Darren Sproles.
They are both small in stature, but also exciting playmakers.
It’s exciting to think what Vaughn could turn into as an NFL player.
