
Two days before he is enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, DeMarcus Ware will be back on the field for the Hall of Fame game.
Ware is scheduled to sing the national anthem before the August 3 preseason opener between the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets.
Passing terror who had 117 sacks cowboy and 21.5 more – as well as a Super Bowl 50 win – with the Denver Broncos, Ware was selected to the Hall of Fame class being inducted at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium on August 5.
Ware averaged .78 sacks per game with 138.5 sacks in 178 games (173 starts) during his career.
He earned seven All-Pro selections, nine Pro Bowls and joined a class that included Browns left tackle Joe Thomas, Jets cornerback Darrell Revis, Miami Dolphins linebacker Zach Thomas and Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Ronde Barber.
