It looks like the Damian Lillard-saga is finally coming to a resolution.

Lillard’s news has taken over the NBA in recent weeks as people wonder what his future holds.

After spending the past 11 seasons in Portland, Lillard has finally requested a trade from the team.

The Trail Blazers will honor his request as they are accepting trade offers from opposing teams.

Colin Cowherd thinks this is a good move for Lillard and the Blazers.

He added that “Dem has earned a bigger platform.”

Lillard became one of the lowest rated players in the league throughout his career playing in Portland.

They’ve always been a small market and haven’t had many wins during Lillard’s career.

One team that seems to be the favorite to land Lillard is the Miami Heat.

They are looking for another star and Lillard can fill that role.

The trio of Lillard, Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo will be one of the best in the NBA.

Miami is also a key market where Lillard could get more star treatment.

The Heat are headed to the NBA Finals, a place Lillard has never been before.

He could be the star they need to push them over the top and get Lillard the elusive championship.

The free agency period in the NBA is just getting started and there are many dominoes yet to roll.
