The Chicago Bears finished the 2022 NFL season with a league-worst record of 3–14.
There were a myriad of reasons for this record, which the team reportedly corrected during the offseason.
As they look ahead to 2023, one of the newest members of the team, Chase Claypool, spoke highly of the upcoming season.
“I really believe this year will be like night and day,” Claypool told Talk Sport media company.
👏 “It’ll be night and day difference from last year!”
🔥 “This is an exciting and dynamic team!”

Claypool further stated, “The offense is going to be explosive,” and “the defense is going to be playmakers,” which would result in the Bears becoming a “fun team to watch.”
The Bears have added several different players during the offseason, which may be part of the reason for Claypool’s enthusiasm.
Between dynamic players like DJ Moore, Tremaine Edmonds, and TJ Edwards, Claypool’s prediction could come true for this team.
Another positive aspect of the 2023 season is the Bears’ competition, especially in the NFC North.
The Green Bay Packers have moved on from Aaron Rodgers and will be entering his first season of the Jordan Love era.
This increased the Bears’ chances of performing better within the division and throughout the season.
Much of their potential success hinges on Justin Fields, who the organization firmly believes in.
They used first-round draft capital on him, and many NFL analysts are targeting Fields as a potential breakout candidate this year.
If he can take that step forward as many are anticipating, what is the ceiling for this Bears team?
