With the score tied 3–3 entering the seventh, Whit Merrifield hit a walk to take the lead mariners Starter Brian Wu (1-3). Dalton Worshow welcomed reliever Tyler Saucedo with a sacrifice bunt. Pinch-hitter Alejandro Kirk walked before Espinal hit a run-scoring single in left field.

Wu, a rookie right-hander, pitched over six innings and allowed four runs on four hits. He walked one and struck out seven.

mariners opened the scoring in the second. Cal Raleigh collected a leadoff single to right field and later, Ford hit a fastball to “Hit It Here Cafe” on the second deck in right field.

Woo retired the first nine batters he faced before hitting George Springer with a leadoff pitch in the fourth. Woo struck out the next two hitters before Guerrero hit a two-run shot over the wall in right to tie the score.

With one out in the sixth, Belt went deep to right-center to deliver blue Jays 3-2 lead, ball clipped the heel of leaping outfielder Teoscar Hernandez’s glove and went over the fence

blue Jays Starter Alec Manoh allowed three runs on three hits in 5 1/3 innings. The right-handed batsman walked four times and scored six runs.
