“But unfortunately, because he attacked me publicly, I have to answer publicly. The truth is I didn’t invite him to the event. They know why.”
“A few days after my mother’s death, her brother and her sister began publicly processing their grief and concerning the death of my mother and my grandmother, doing many interviews and for a lot of money, separately. Decided to cash in on my mother’s death by selling books.”
Billie said that Todd and Jolie never consulted her or considered how this might affect their relationship. She admitted that his actions were “very hurtful” to her as she processed one of the most difficult times in her life.
“I chose and still choose to deal with her loss very differently. The press release Todd Fisher gave to TMZ and the posting by Jolie Fisher on Instagram confirms once again that my instincts were correct. To be clear For – there is no quarrel.”
“We do not have a relationship. It was a conscious decision on my part to break the cycle of a life I want no part of for myself or my children.”
“The people who knew and loved my mother at Disney and Lucasfilm have created this star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to make her legacy possible.”
“This moment is about Carrie Fisher and everything she’s accomplished and what she means to the world,” Billy concluded. “I’m going to focus on that. May the 4th be with you.”
