But the hours-long wait brought big surprises – including the reveal of her record label’s name and first label collaboration ice spice, Minaj introduced Spice as the special guest on Thursday’s show, to whom she has recently shown love online.
“Heavy On It is the label, and I am proud to announce our partnership with the one and only Ice Spice,” said Nicki.
Nicki first announced the label on Amazon, its new home, during the return of Queen Radio in March Amp. She revealed that Patti Lauren is the label’s first A&R, and some of the artists signed include Nana Foffi, Tet Kobang, Rico Dana and London Hill.
The extent of his partnership with Ice Spice is unknown, but their first collaboration is a remix of Spice Princess Diana.

The remix comes after featuring Ice Spice paper Magazine, where he reflected on his rise to fame. She credited her “own tempo” and her father’s underground rapper career as influences.
On Friday, Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj released the official music video Princess Diana Remix.
In the midst of the video’s release, Queen Radio is trending on Twitter as number one in the US. Meanwhile, the remix track has already reached number one on iTunes Top Songs.
