The championship run of the Denver Nuggets was no coincidence; It was years in the making.

The team was carefully put together, each piece having a clear role.

And while Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr., and Aaron Gordon clearly did most of the heavy lifting, they had Bruce Brown Jr. to do the dirty work.

Brown inexplicably signed a bargain deal with the Nuggets in the offseason, and now that he has introduced himself to the world, it is clear that he is going to get a big bag this time around.

With that in mind, Legion Hoops reports that the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Lakers are currently the leading candidates to acquire his services.

Brown’s excellent defense and unmatched hustle will make him an ideal addition to any championship contender.

Recalling his days with the Brooklyn Nets, he proved that he could handle his job in the paint as a small-ball center, despite his apparent lack of height.

He can guard one to five, crash the board, play off the ball as a slasher, shoot shots, and he’s the type of guy who can put his body on the line. will never hesitate.

Brown backed up his bullshit-talking on the floor and earned himself a bigger contract than the Nuggets would be able to offer him at this point in time.

It will be interesting to see how much money it can get once this impending bidding war ends.
