Just because Dillon Brooks of the Memphis Grizzlies had a disappointing postseason, doesn’t mean another NBA team won’t invest in him.

The latest reporting states that Brooks does not have much time left with the Grizzlies and will not be with the team when the new season kicks off.

So, where will he land?

According to BetOnline.ag, via NBACentral, the Miami Heat are currently the betting favorites for Brooks.

He has found himself in hot water over the past few weeks due to Brooks’ performance and some public statements he has made about LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

But one should not forget that the young man has basketball talent.

He averaged 14.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists for the season.

He also showed himself to be a reliable defender.

It’s true that his season didn’t end on a great note and created controversy for himself and the team, but he could still have a strong future in the league.

The Heat have been on the verge of making some changes for some time now.

They did little during the last off-season and are looking to see if they can have a good year with the roster they have.

They are currently in the midst of a surprisingly strong postseason run.

But when this is over, they may finally decide to add some new talent, including Brooks.

Brooks will probably be a little more selective about the things he says to the press and instead focus more on his game.

It could be the best for him and whatever team he ends up with.
