The NBA offseason is always filled with coaching changes for many teams.

No sport likes to have its coach fired more than the NBA.

Some very good coaches have been fired this offseason, and it will be interesting to see who ends up where.

One familiar name looking for another head coaching job is Hall-of-Fame point guard Steve Nash.

He was released from the Brooklyn Nets after seven games last season.

But it looks like he’s drawing interest from at least one NBA team.

According to Michael Grange, via NBACentral, the Toronto Raptors were “impressed” with Nash during his formal interview.

Nash is one of the most famous Canadian basketball players of all time.

So it would make sense for him to become the next head coach of the only NBA team in Canada.

The Raptors are a team that may be headed for a rebuild.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see them trade one or both of Pascal Siakam and Ozzie Anunobi this off-season.

They could get draft picks or a plethora of young assets for either one of those players.

In addition, point guard Fred VanVleet has a player option and needs to decide what to do with him.

Bringing Nash to Canada will generate a lot of interest among Raptors fans.

It seems like a match made in heaven.

Nash was given the short end of the stick in Brooklyn.

He should have the support of his players in Toronto and that could make all the difference.
